Blevisian editing and other voice production techniques
November 2nd, 2006 by Derek
Mark Blevis of the Canadian Podcast Buffet and numerous other shows (he interviewed Paul some weeks back) has posted a series of articles about his techniques for editing podcasts.
He’s mostly a Cubase guy, but his advice applies to anyone who needs to edit audio. Here are the intro, part 1, part 2, part 3, and part 4.
A couple of other good resources about editing speech and vocals are Hens Zimmerman’s latest Sounds Good episode, and Daniel Steinberg’s Advanced Audio Editing Techniques session from the 2005 Podcast Academy.
