NAMM Show 2007 special coverage begins
January 11th, 2007 by Derek

Next week, Paul and I travel from Vancouver to Anaheim, California for the annual west coast NAMM Show. This isn’t an event for the general public, but a tradeshow for manufacturers, distributors, dealers, and others involved in the musical instrument, hardware, software, and services industry to meet, talk, and see all the latest cool stuff.
Last year saw James and Paul cover NAMM 2006, but this year we’re trying to ramp up what we do by posting highlight audio podcasts roughly each day (we hope) of the show (January 17–21), as well as frequent blog posts and photos posted to Flickr as well.
If you want to keep track of our NAMM coverage (although it will dominate regardless), I’ve set up a NAMM category here at the website that will comprise blog posts and podcast episodes specifically about our show coverage and experience:
www.insidehomerecording.com/nammshow
We hope to be meeting with and maybe sharing some coverage with other podcasters from the Home Recording Network, so we’ll point to their stuff too. There should be lots to read and hear.
NOTE: Whether you’re subscribed to our Enhanced AAC or MP3 podcast feeds, you’ll get all the podcasts we produce, but we expect only to be releasing MP3 files to both sets of subscribers. We simply won’t have time to produce Enhanced shows with graphics and links, and being able to create only one file for each show will also save us storage and bandwidth while we’re pumping out the episodes with increased frequency.
P.S. I’d also recommend the Flickr namm tag for photos past and present from people all over.
