We’ve arrived at NAMM
January 17th, 2007 by Derek

The IHR team (plus Derek’s wife and daughters, who are off to Disneyland) has arrived safely in Anaheim for the 2007 winter NAMM Show. We have our recording gear set up and tested, our reporters’ notebooks primed, our camera memory cards emptied, and waaaay too many batteries charging overnight in the hotel.
This show is so big (27,000 attendees), even the driver on the Disneyland Express bus from Los Angeles Airport said, “You’re probably all going to NAMM, right?”
To keep an eye and ear on our progress, here’s what you do:
- Stay subscribed to the Inside Home Recording podcast to hear our daily podcasts of interviews and impressions from the show floor.
- Point your browser to insidehomerecording.com/nammshow for our blog posts, or just visit the home page at insidehomerecording.com. You can also subcribe to our RSS feed of only NAMM content at insidehomerecording.com/?cat=9&feed=rss2.
- Watch our NAMM 2007 Flickr photostream.
Other coverage from the Home Recording Network you might want to check on comes from Gearwire, SonicState, and the Project Studio Network. We also hope to see Steve from TutorialDEPOT, as well as numerous manufacturer and distributor staff that we’ve only contacted by email and phone, and can finally meet in person.
