Paul’s on the Road Again with Apple
February 27th, 2007 by Paul
This week I hit the road again giving Final Cut Studio and Logic Pro 7 presentations for Apple Canada at various schools throughout B.C., with my first stop yesterday in Cranbrook at Mount Baker Secondary. On Thursday, March 1st, I’ll be doing it again in Fort St. John at the District Resource Center.
The following week, I’m at W.J. Mouat Secondary, March 5th in Abbotsford and in Kelowna at Kelowna Secondary, March 6th. 1 more date is scheduled for March 14th in Burnaby at Byrne Creek Secondary.
My Apple “Podcasting for Small Business” tour kicks off next week in Minneapolis on March 8th at First Tech, March 10th at Tekserve in New York City, March 24th in San Diego at Crywolf, March 27th in Los Angeles at LA Computer, and March 29th in Portland at MacForce. There will be some cool giveaways, so make sure that you register early to reserve your seat.
UPDATED: The event at MacForce is on March 28th, not the 29th as noted earlier.

Hi Guys,
First of all, I’d like to wish Derek a speedy recovery from the medical treatments he’s receiving. I actually went through a similar (but different) situation as his during the Fall of last year. It takes a little time to “bounce back” but I’m sure he’ll be fine!
Secondly, I’m the guy who did the Mastering Bus Limiter Shootout on the Home Recording Odyssey podcast and heard your comments about my segment. Keeping in context with the “theme” of the Home Recording Odyssey, I purposefully compared limiters that were free or low-cost. The Waves L1 is certainly not free or low-cost (and I do not happen to have it in my collection) and that is why it was not included in the shootout.
If you listen to the next episode of the Home Recording Odyssey, you’ll hear a follow-up shootout that I did. I found an amazing limiter that has become my “go to” top pick limiter and it is absolutely FREE! I could tell ya now, but that would spoil the fun. Tune in to HRO to find out!
Get well Derek!
